Its all in the title

The title of this blog is part of my favorite quote from Gandhi, "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." It is a quote that I have come to adopt as a core belief. There are countless times that I hear people complain about this and that. There are so many problems in the world that people can easily point out, but how many are actually trying to do something about it. To many times I hear "What difference can I make, I am only one person." Well, with that attitude it won't be much of a difference. Instead everyone needs to believe that he/she CAN make a difference. If you think there should be more trees in the world, plant one. If you think the environment needs help, change your light bulbs. If you believe in God, tell someone. If you think you're fat, then exercise. If you aren't happy with politics, tell your elected officials. There are countless things anyone can do to make a difference. It doesn't have to be world shaking, it just needs to be sincere. It doesn't have to be big, but do something to make the world a better place.
